TeenCanteen return with a new single, You’re Still Mine/Vagabond, on their own SWALK Records on Monday 16 June 2014. Produced by FOUND’s Ziggy Campbell, the single will be available as a limited 300 copies available as a 7″ frosted clear glitter (pictured below) as well as the usual digital format. You’re Still Mine is a follow-up to their wonderful sugar-soaked, harmony-laden debut Honey.
The official launch takes place at Henry’s Cellar Bar, Edinburgh on Saturday 14 June 2014. Support comes from The Just Joans and Jenna. Tickets available for the gig from the very reasonable Brown Paper Tickets.
Amanda (guitar/vocals), Carla (keyboards/vocals), Deborah (drums/vocals) and Sita (bass/vocals) also head to the Highlands tonight to perform at the goNORTH Festival in Inverness. Catch them at Hootananny on Church Street at 11pm.
The band have also been selected to play the T Break stage at T in the Park. You can download You’re So Analog for free. It features Mr Eugene Kelly on guitar. You can also hear You’re So Analog and Honey on Radio goNORTH during the goNORTH Festival. Listen in HERE.
Also, if that wasn’t enough, they form part of the tartan invasion of the Indietracks festival when they join The Wellgreen, Withered Hand, The Just Joans and The Spook School as they head over the border to Derbyshire between 25 and 27 July.
The band also performed a three-track session last week on Radio Scotland’s The Culture Studio with Janice Forsyth. Sadly, it’s only available for one more day.
You can also catch Carla at the Parley for Power (and the power behind it …) happening at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh on 23 July. Tickets and details HERE.
