Welcome, one and all, to the first edition of Where The Action Is of 2012. We have the usual mix off mod, girl groups, freakbeat, popsike and the best music you’ve never heard from the late 50s through to the early 70s and in a new time slot, between 9 and 11pm (UK time). Some regular features return with the introduction of some new ones and a new Show theme tune, which I change every January. We’ll now be playing two rounds of the Connect 3 puzzle, the wordless wonder that is the Half-Time Instrumental, a Foreign Language track (which country will we visit this week?), the Under the Influence choice and this week’s Two of a Kind. There’s also a Death Disco track every week and new features in the shape of Double Rubble and Land of 1000 Dances.
