Glaswegian acoustic singer-songwriter Shambles Miller released his second EP “Shambles Sails the Clockwork Sea” towards the end of 2010.
He released his debut EP just over a year ago and has had coverage from the likes of Glasgow Podcart, Jim Gellatly, For Folks Sake, Amazing Radio and many other blogs and webzines. He’s also been named as one of Jim Gellatly’s “10 for 2011“, his shortlist of 10 acts to watch in 2011.
Some nice things people have said about Shambles:
“witty, self-deprecating lyrics full of comedy anger and his beer belly disguise semi-serious political polemic and enough heart to power a small charity.” – Lisa-Marie Ferla, Last Year’s Girl
“…his pronounced Scottish accent clashes with the upbeat rhythms like a satisfying mixture of Frightened Rabbit and Frank Turner.” – Mitch Bain, Rockmidgets
“a melodic and lyrical prowess absent from many of these acoustic singer-songwriters that so dominate the local unsigned music scenes in Edinburgh and Glasgow.” – Andrew R. Hill, Stereokill
“Scotland’s answer to Frank Turner.” – Jim Gellatly
